A folded piece of paper is pinned to a board at the edge of the deck, and a pair of scissors waits beside it. Each time a friend hops, the scissors fly over, snip a new shape out of the paper and fly back. At the end all three hop together, the paper unfolds like a fan into a big six-sided snowflake and the board twinkles.
